作者簡介

　　J.J. Sakurai （1933-1982），一位傑齣的物理學傢。1933年生於東京，1955年畢業於美國哈佛大學，1958年在康乃爾大學獲得博士學位。在康乃爾大學學習期間，獨立地發現瞭弱相互作用的V-A（矢量減軸矢量）理論。1959年在芝加哥大學任助理教授，1964年升為正教授。1970年加入到美國加州大學洛杉磯分校物理係。曾任斯隆研究員（1962-1966），美國物理學會高級成員（1964-1982），古根海姆研究員（1975-1976），以及洪堡研究員（1981-1982）。1982年死於瑞士日內瓦。著有《高等量子力學》（1967）和《現代量子力學》（1985）。
