##可能是今年看过最让人心碎的故事，so sad。。。historical fiction能写到这样真想见一面作者啊

##基于真实历史事件的YA，从被侵占国家人民的角度来看二战，讲述了几个来自不同背景的teenager（波兰，普鲁士和立陶宛和一个纳粹），在逃亡途中的经历以及最终登上了被苏联鱼类击中的Gustloff号的命运。能理解作者的东欧移民出身对苏共的憎恨，但聚焦那边的同时难免淡化纳粹的种种罪行，有种“我想要站在中立角度写战争”但没法中立的别扭感。

##audiobook贼好，四个人物的角度叙述，每章都很短，易读。人物都挺喜欢的，包括Alfred，和sidecharacters，比如shoepoet。战争残酷，1000+装载量的船运送着10000+难民，比tatanic要严重太多倍的历史事件居然如此鲜为人知。希望世界和平。
