Nate the Great and his trusty dog, Sludge, have a tricky case to solve. Nate’s friend Rosamond has started a fortune-telling business, but her money box is missing. Sludge and Nate visit Claude, who helped Rosamond set up her business, and Finley, who collects boxes for his rat. They can’t seem to help! It looks like the only way to clean up this case is to get down and dirty in the dumps!

作者簡介

Marjorie Weinman Sharmat (born November 12, 1928 in Portland, Maine) is an American children's writer. Sharmat has authored more than 130 books for children and teens. Her books have been translated into several languages and have won awards, such as Book of the Year by the Library of Congress or have become selections by the Literary Guild. Very briefly in the 1980s, Sharmat also wrote Sorority Sisters, a romantic book series, which had a sense of humor. Among Sharmat's most popular books are those featuring child detective Nate the Great.

The story, Nate the Great Goes Undercover, was turned into a made-for-TV movie and won the Los Angeles International Children's Film Festival Award. In expanding the Nate the Great storyline, Mitchell Sharmat, Marjorie's husband created Olivia Sharp, Nate's cousin and fellow detective.

裏麵的書沒有密封好，不過書不錯，不知道孩子喜不喜歡，滿減後實付十五一本左右

剛學會走路沒幾個月，也在跟著鍛煉體魄。顯然，他是自己湊過來的，混在瞭年長的孩子中，分明還不應該齣現在這個隊伍裏。“哼哼哈嘿！”小傢夥口中發聲，嫩嫩的小手臂賣力的揮動著，效仿大孩子們的動作，可是他太過幼小，動作歪歪扭扭，且步履蹣跚，搖搖擺擺，再加上嘴角間殘留的白色奶漬，引人發笑。一群大孩子看著他，皆擠眉弄眼，讓原本嚴肅的晨練氣氛輕緩瞭不少。小不點長的很白嫩與漂亮，大眼睛烏溜溜的轉動，整個人像是個白瓷娃娃，很可愛，稚嫩的動作，口中咿咿呀呀，憨態可掬。這讓另一片場地中盤坐在一塊塊巨石上正在吞吐天精的一些老人也都露齣笑容
