　　——《德周數學評論》對方源、王元Calculus-書的評論（評論號：Zb1 0939.26001） 乾隆時代武英殿本“二十四史”在當時是標準本，但是武英殿本仍有不足之處，近代商務印書館搜求各時代的善本，編成“百衲本二十四史”，當時可謂“二十四史”的最佳版本。但是傳統的“二十四史”沒有標點，沒有斷句，讀起來仍有一定睏難。五十年代，由國傢領導建議，集中當時全國史傢，對“二十四史”進行校訂，加上標點，是為標點本“二十四史”，實為“二十四史”的最佳版本。
