《霍比特人》（The Hobbit），又被翻译为《哈比人历险记》，是J.R.R托尔金为其儿子写的一部童话故事，《霍比特人》电影海报出版于1937年，是《指环王》（又译“魔戒”）系列故事的前传，霍比特人就是这些故事中的一个种族，主要特征为个头矮小，行动敏捷而轻柔，不穿鞋子，脚上长有天然的肉垫儿，喜欢食物和悠闲自在的生活。托尔金构建的中洲（又译“中土世界”）中有着精灵、矮人、人族、巫师等不同的种族分化，霍比特人比矮人的个头还矮，生活自在，亲近自然，与世无争。2012年年末，《指环王》系列导演彼得·杰克逊在时隔数年之后，将众所期待的前传《霍比特人》三部曲之《霍比特人：意外之旅》搬上了银屏，再次续写了《指环王》史诗巨制的磅礴与瑰丽。
