　　《韓禮德應用語言學自選集》共有13篇論文，分為4個部分，分彆是“學習母語”、“學習其他語言”、“教育中的語言”和“論英語語法”。第一部分（“學習母語”）有3篇文章，都圍繞兒童語言發展（語言習得）的早期階段的有關問題展開；第二部分“學習其他語言”有3篇文章，討論學習母語以外的語言問題；第三部分“教育中的語言”有3篇文章，主要圍繞著語言教育問題，討論教育過程中語言角色的變化和語言本質的變化；第四部分“論英語語法”有3篇文章，討論所涉及的核心問題是理論語言學與應用語言學的融閤。

作者簡介

　　韓禮德教授，現為澳洲悉尼大學榮譽退休教授及香港城市大學韓禮德語言研究智能應用中心顧問。世界兩大主要語言學派之一的“係統功能語言學”（SystemicFunctionalLinguistics）的創始人，國際知名語言學傢。代錶著作有ExplorationsintheFunctionsofLanguage、LearningHowtoMean、AnIntroductiontoFunctionalGrammar等。
