Kazuo Ishiguro's seven published books have won him wide renown and many honours around the world. His work has been translated into over forty languages. The Remains of the Day and Never Let Me Go have each sold in excess of 1,000,000 copies in Faber editions alone, and both were adapted into highly acclaimed films. His latest novel isThe Buried Giant.

石黑一雄（Kazuo Ishiguro），日裔英國小說傢，1954年生於日本長崎。1989年獲得“布剋奬”，與奈保爾、拉什迪並稱“英國文壇移民三雄”。被英國皇室授勛為文學騎士，並獲授法國藝術文學騎士勛章。

2017年，石黑一雄獲得諾貝爾文學奬。瑞典學院給齣的獲奬理由為“石黑一雄的小說，以其巨大的情感力量，發掘瞭隱藏在我們與世界聯係的幻覺之下的深淵。”

石黑一雄文體以細膩優美著稱，幾乎每部小說都被提名或得奬，其作品已被翻譯成二十八種語言。
