TED CHIANG was born in Port Jefferson, New York, and holds a degree in computer science. His fiction has won numerous awards. His first collection, Stories of Your Life and Others, has been translated into ten languages. He lives near Seattle, Washington.

##就阅读体验来讲，更喜欢刘宇昆的《The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories》。姜大师这本 语言更平实，故事讲起来似乎也没有那么惊心动 魄，甚至有点波澜不惊。但只要静下心来思考， 后劲儿很大。

评分##Exhalation 本来就是我最喜欢姜老师的一篇，后面两篇翁法洛斯和焦虑是自由的眩晕是新篇，太期待了才买了原版来看，物超所值。姜老师的语言一如既往地理性，逻辑性也极强，因为那种详实的感受让故事背景可信。每一篇当中对社会人性的讨论都有有许多有趣的点，有的点感觉单独拿出来就能写一个短篇
