林舒（Shu Lin）教授是IEEE的Life Fellow，先后承担过IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INFORMATION THEORY的主编和ISIT会议主席和IEEE信息论协会的主席，主持了多项美国国家科学基金研究项目及其它项目。林舒教授的研究方向有代数编码、编码调制、差错控制系统、卫星通信等。
