##最近寫的論文是從批評斯金納的一個研究開始的,不過跟polit哲學史沒關係,對這個話題感興趣,就找來看瞭。讀斯金納的確不會失望,想給十顆星。研究彌爾頓的文學批評傢也都應該讀讀。這本書也是英文學術寫作的典範。

##斯金納的故事和內容與波考剋分析英國革命的部分大體一緻,不過相比波考剋挖掘現代政治容納“特殊性”的宏大理論野心而言,斯金納更像一個講故事的老者。斯金納延續瞭他在《霍布斯與共和主義自由》中的分析套路,並將共和派的哲學立場追溯到馬基雅維利——在分析共和派的立場時,馬基雅維利的引文都會準點齣場。不過,從學者的分析看,他對馬基雅維利闡釋並不成功,彌爾頓和哈靈頓的原始文本也很難支持他的分析。
