In the ashes of a dying world, Red finds a letter marked “Burn before reading. Signed, Blue.”
So begins an unlikely correspondence between two rival agents in a war that stretches through the vast reaches of time and space.
Red belongs to the Agency, a post-singularity technotopia. Blue belongs to Garden, a single vast consciousness embedded in all organic matter. Their pasts are bloody and their futures mutually exclusive. They have nothing in common—save that they’re the best, and they’re alone.
Now what began as a battlefield boast grows into a dangerous game, one both Red and Blue are determined to win. Because winning’s what you do in war. Isn’t it?

##这里唯一的科幻成分是姬佬的爱情。消防员和纵火犯的爱，两个猎食者互相吞噬的欲望，爱起来恨不能共一个身体，又必须在剧情转折后在绝望中求索和永生，如疾病一样的爱，如火种一样的觉醒，姬佬要成就这种爱只能对抗全宇宙的定律和规则，仅仅为了在一起喝个茶，养条狗。说起来这简直玄幻。出于好奇我去查看了作者们，对居然是co-writing，还是一男一女作者，我理所当然以为这是姬佬写的文DOH...
