书脊的内胶少，开裂了。我自己拿胶水又粘了一把。感觉这书意义不大，选的词都是足够作者讲一篇大段的词，只是把词义解释得比一般词典更加细致、精准而已。然而没有对记忆方法的指导，比如这个词的词根词缀的分析、这个词的由来分析，都没有。没有帮助读者记忆的作用的一本词汇书还不如一本普通的词典。目前为止，我个人觉得相对最好用的英语词典还是AHD（American Heritage Dictionary of English language）。AHD有app版，虽然要付费买license，百来块钱，但是我觉得很值。每个单词的多重意思都很好的梳理了和区分，词根词缀也有分析，便于记忆。当然词根词缀分析最好的还是online etymology dictionary。AHD的唯一不足之处在于，例句少。例句最好的还是属韦氏高阶，但韦氏高阶的词义解释不够细化，一词多义的情况没有全部罗列。一个在AHD里有四五条解释的单词，在W-M里经常就只剩一条了，这种情况太多了。总结下来，我真没发现一个让我各方面都完全满意的词典。

运输包装很简陋，没有盒子也没有缓冲，就是普通京东的塑胶袋包装，导致有些许磨损的地方，可以看图。内部印刷质量中等，没有常见外文书的黄色或绿色厚页纸，普通的报纸印刷，但是还是清晰。内容还没有学，暂不作评论。

个人理解这是对单词的归纳书，比如candid与同义词的比较和适用。对单词的理解和使用理解的更深刻
