Luckily, they are in the rubber "Umbubble" Andrew invented that keeps them safe. They encounter gooey, squishy, and slimy substances while in the pipes. They find their way out of the pipes to the kitchen only to have to fight off a cockroach and try not to be eaten by Mrs. Scuttle. Thudd keeps readers entertained by his silly jokes and his knowledge of bugs and substances. Teachers will find this book an amusing way to teach children about bugs, food, and places not usually explored by children."

　　颂伊的前经纪人阿凡把颂伊落下的手包还回来，颂伊没拿稳，东西散落一地。其实这是宥拉的手包，里面有一个U盘。颂伊好奇打开了U盘，发现里面有一段很怪异的视频。颂伊看视频的过程在载京电脑上直播，因为载京找人送了颂伊一个绒毛熊，里面装有针孔摄像机。敏俊把吃的带回去给颂伊，两人吃饭的时候敏俊发现绒毛熊有些不对劲，他一把扯下了藏在熊里的摄像机。

　　辉京在酒吧喝得大醉，世美赶来，辉京告诉世美自己又被颂伊拒绝了，但他不会放弃。他转问世美，会不会放弃自己喜欢的人，世美很感慨，其实她心里那个人就是辉京，她从未放下。颂伊妈妈带着允在去颂伊住的地方，颂伊正巧在家，此时有人送来一个包裹，颂伊妈妈打开一看吓得面如死灰，里面是一只死老鼠。允才立刻追了出去，只见到一个身穿黑衣的陌生人骑摩托离开。颂伊妈妈要她去和经纪公司协商续约，还要找经纪人保障她的安全，颂伊拒绝了。颂伊送妈妈和弟弟搭电梯，妈妈问起辉景的事，颂伊说自己拒绝了他的求婚。颂伊妈妈骂她没脑子，颂伊却说自己只是尊重辉景，不想伤害他。电梯门打开，敏俊出现了，颂伊立刻拉着他向妈妈介绍这是她的新经纪人，敏俊十分不情愿。他告诉颂伊不做经纪人，颂伊很难过，她告诉敏俊自己的处境真的很艰难，老有人跟踪恐吓她，她很害怕。敏俊还是心软了，他让颂伊进屋。
